With over 15 years of piano experience, Jay combines the perspectives of performer, educator, and piano technician. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Stephen F. Austin State University, along with formal training in piano technology.

For more than a decade, Jay has taught students ranging from young beginners to adult musicians, helping over 150 students develop confidence, skill, and a lasting appreciation for music. His approach emphasizes strong fundamentals, consistent growth, and a genuine enjoyment of the learning process.

Tune In Piano was founded from a desire to preserve both the instrument and the craft behind it. By combining musical expertise with technical precision, Jay's goal is to help more pianos throughout Houston sound, feel, and perform at their highest potential.
